Job TitleElectrical Testing EngineerJob DescriptionDevelop, implement, and maintain electrical testing procedures for production and qualification activities. Design, support, and improve test fixtures, test setups, and automated testing systems. Perform functional, diagnostic, and environmental testing to confirm product performance and compliance with specifications. Investigate electrical failures, identify root causes, and support corrective and preventive actions. Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and customer requirements to ensure accurate validation activities. Partner with Design, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to enhance product reliability, manufacturability, and testability. Analyze test data, identify trends, and generate recommendations for process and product improvements. Support new product introduction activities by creating test strategies and validating designs. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment while ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. Assist with quality documentation, audits, and qualification testing activities.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline. 2+ years of experience in electrical testing, test engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a similar technical environment. Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, troubleshooting methodologies, and insulation testing techniques. Experience using test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, insulation testers, and data acquisition systems. Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and structured problem-solving approaches. Knowledge of quality systems within regulated manufacturing environments is preferred. Exposure to automated test platforms, programming tools, or scripting languages is advantageous. Hands-on experience with electrical assembly, prototyping, soldering, or related activities is highly desirable.
