OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Test Lab Technician, you will be responsible for performing various electrical tests to evaluate the performance and functionality of our products. You will work closely with our engineers and other technicians to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology and make a meaningful impact in the field of electrical testing.ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical tests on battery products and associated electrical/electronic components and record test data accuratelyTroubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systemsCalibrate and maintain test equipment and toolsCollaborate with engineers to develop and improve test proceduresEnsure compliance with safety regulations and protocolsProvide technical support to other teams within the organizationAssist in the design and implementation of new test setups and systemsSustain basicSaftExcellent Systems (SES) concepts as a foundation to increase team activitiesLead teams for continuous improvement and promote regular team meetings by using the SES toolsProvide and be responsible for support of product engineering as defined by TR's and EFT's which include: test setup, data collection and summary of test dataQualificationsHigh school diploma plus two years of specialized vocational school training in electrical, electronics, or related technical field equivalentMinimum of 2 years of experience in electrical testing or a similar roleStrong knowledge of electrical and/or electronic test lab environmentMinimum of 1 year of experience in battery system and component testing, battery chargers and ancillary devicesProficient with computers, software, and programming of automotive test equipmentMechanically inclined with the ability to assemble specialized test fixtures for qualification and acceptance testing of batteries and electrical equipmentPreferred SkillsProficiency in reading electrical schematics and technical drawingsFamiliarity with basic chemistryKnowledge of programming automated test systems (Digatron, Bitorde, Enechron)Knowledge of electrical, chemical, and mechanical requirements for testing battery systems with primary emphasis on nickel cadmium, vented and maintenance free assembliesSolid understanding of requirements for SA9100, FAA repair station regulations, and safety issues involved with handling potassium hydroxide, high powered currents, and heavy equipment#J-18808-Ljbffr
