LINK Staffing is hiring an Electrical Test Technician for a 2nd shift opportunity in the Katy, TX area. This role pays $32.00 per hour and is a strong fit for someone with electrical testing, troubleshooting, schematic reading, and power electronics experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
This is a hands-on technical role where you will inspect electrical units, run production acceptance tests, troubleshoot failed units, document results, and help make sure products meet quality and safety standards before moving forward in production.

What Youll Do
- Perform visual inspections before powering up electrical units
- Run production acceptance testing, including insulation and function tests
- Read schematics, drawings, procedures, and work instructions to complete tests correctly
- Use test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and isolation testers
- Troubleshoot failed units and help identify electrical or component issues
- Record test results and complete required test reports and paperwork
- Report issues found during testing clearly and accurately
- Handle large gauge cables during the testing process
- Support light mechanical assembly when needed
What Were Looking For
- 25 years of electrical industry experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Experience with power electronics
- Experience using DMMs, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, isolation testers, or similar test equipment
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Able to follow written work instructions and safety procedures in English
- Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable handling large gauge cables
- Two-year technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
- ISO 9001 knowledge is a plus
