LINK Staffing is hiring an Electrical Test Technician in the Katy, TX area. This is a full-time, 1st shift role paying $30.00/hour.
This position is a good fit for someone with hands-on electrical testing experience who can read schematics, use electrical test equipment, troubleshoot failed units, and document test results accurately.
You will inspect electrical units before testing, run production tests, troubleshoot issues, and help confirm products meet quality and safety requirements before moving forward.

What Youll Do
Inspect electrical units before powering up or testing
Run electrical production tests based on written procedures
Perform insulation, function, and quality checks
Read schematics, drawings, work instructions, and test procedures
Use electrical test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, and related tools
Troubleshoot failed units and help identify electrical or component issues
Record test results and complete required reports accurately
Report testing issues, failures, defects, or safety concerns
Handle large-gauge cables during the testing process
Support light mechanical assembly when needed
Keep the test area clean, organized, and safe
What Were Looking For
2 to 5 years of electrical testing, electrical troubleshooting, or related industry experience preferred
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Experience using electrical test equipment such as DMMs, oscilloscopes, or similar tools
Experience with power electronics is a plus
Able to follow written work instructions, test procedures, and safety requirements
Comfortable documenting test results and completing basic reports
Basic Microsoft Office or computer skills
Able to communicate clearly in English for work instructions, safety, and documentation
Able to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 40 lbs occasionally
Comfortable handling large-gauge cables
Two-year technical degree or equivalent hands-on experience is a plus
ISO 9001 knowledge is a plus
