POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Electrical Testing Associate-2nd shift your roles and responsibilities will include:
The Electrical Testing Associate will support the testing, assembly, wiring, troubleshooting, and quality verification of electrical components and wired assemblies. The role works closely with Engineering, Quality, Supervision, and Planning to ensure products are built and tested according to electrical schematics, BOMs, engineering specifications, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret electrical schematics, prints, drawings, and BOMs.
- Perform wiring and assembly of electrical components and assemblies.
- Assemble and wire starters, relays, transformers, switches, circuit breakers, and controls.
- Perform functional testing of wired components and assemblies.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and support programming to ensure proper functionality.
- Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and other electrical test equipment.
- Verify wiring, components, wire sizes, and electrical configurations.
- Perform GFI and hot testing.
- Inspect assemblies for proper explosion-proof specifications.
- Identify, document, and segregate defective or faulty materials.
- Perform drilling, tapping, and other mechanical assembly work using hand and power tools.
- Operate hoists or other lifting equipment as required.
- Identify errors in drawings, production orders, and other manufacturing documentation.
- Recommend engineering changes and process improvements.
- Work with Quality and Engineering to resolve testing and production issues.
- Follow NEC, OSHA, safety procedures, and company standards.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Supervision when equipment or work orders require attention.
QUALIFICATIONS

Electrical Testing Associate-2nd shift would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults
- Experience working from schematics/prints/drawings
- Hands-on experience with multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Knowledge of voltage/current measurement and load testing
- Understanding of signal integrity and EMC/EMI
- Ability to interpret test results and recommend corrective actions
- Knowledge of NEC and OSHA requirements
Preferred Technical ToolsExperience with any of the following is valuable:- LabVIEW
- Arduino
- Python
- Jira
- Jama
- Power analyzers
- Signal generators
- Video analyzers
- HDMI/4K test equipment
