Shape the Next Generation of Electricians

Picture your morning: you unlock a modern lab, set up a conduit-bending demo, and review a hands-on exercise on service panel upgrades. By mid-day, you’re coaching students through load calculations on single-phase and multi-phase commercial setups. In the afternoon, you’re mentoring a team as they troubleshoot lighting layouts—wrapping up before the weekend, because your Saturdays and Sundays are yours.

Compensation & Schedule

• $36.00–$38.00 per hour with OT possibilities
• Weekends OFF
• Paid Training

What You’ll Do

• Inspire and educate: Build an inclusive classroom where curiosity thrives and concepts click.
• Lead hands-on training: Demonstrate real-world techniques in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
• Develop curriculum: Partner with academics to refine courses and add content aligned with current industry trends.
• Mentor students: Guide project work, promote critical thinking, and coach innovative problem-solving.
• Champion safety: Model and enforce safety standards and procedures in every lab and lesson.

What You Bring

• Education: High school diploma or GED
• Experience: 5 years of practical field experience required (teaching experience excluded from the 5 years). Journeyman/Licensed Technician, NCCER Certified Instructor, or an associate/bachelor’s in a related field is a plus.
• Technical mastery: Power distribution, branch circuit wiring, conduit bending, lighting layouts, service panel upgrades, load calculations, and troubleshooting for single-phase and multi-phase commercial systems.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to connect with learners and colleagues.
• Patience & empathy: A coaching mindset that meets each student where they are.
