Position Description
Under the direction of the class instructor, the lab assistant provides instructional assistance and support to instructional staff in lab settings. Assists in setting up lab projects and maintaining lab equipment. Assists instructional staff in updating and maintaining student performance records and provides observational information, feedback and input to instructional staff on student performance.

Qualifications
Requires a minimum of a HS diploma and at least one year related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of the work.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Fundamentals and general principles in the lab content area assigned.

ANNUAL SECURITY REPORT/CAMPUS SECURITY CRIME STATISTICS: The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act requires that the college's Annual Security Report which includes crime statistics be made available to prospective employees and prospective students upon request.
