Description
Under general direction of the Electrical Transmission & Distribution Supervisor, the Electrical Transmission & Distribution Foreman is a working foreman position that provides leadership, supervision, and training for the Transmission/Distribution (T&D) line crew and participates in the maintenance, construction, and operation of the Electrical T&D Systems.

Qualifications
Required:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, and six (6) years of experience in electrical distribution field, including one (1) year experience in a lead lineman position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Class "A" CDL with airbrake endorsement issued by the State of Texas, or the ability to obtain within 90 days from date of hire. Department of Labor Journeyman Lineman certification or equivalent. Knowledge of materials used in the Electrical T&D Industry. Must maintain a residence within a 40-minute response time of the Utility Service Center within six (6) months of accepting position. Available to work on-call, emergency response, weekends, and evenings. Ability to perform essential duties in an environment that entails a variety of weather conditions and extreme temperatures; working at heights of up to 100' above ground level; frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, climbing, and pushing/pulling; using hoist and dollies to lift and move heavy objects; and physically lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
