The Electrical YA will work alongside our licensed electricians, learning the entire process from start to finish. Under direct supervision of a mentor, you will assist the Electrical department by performing the following duties:
• Studies blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the electrical components to install and the assembly sequence. • Assembles and installs wiring, electrical, and electronic components, pipe systems, and plumbing machinery and equipment. • Bends and installs conduit. • Assembles functional parts of enclosures and tanks using hand tools, levels, and straight edges. • Follows work instructions from general description. • Confers with supervisor or others to resolve assembly problems. • Cleans and organizes work area.
Education: High School Junior or Senior enrolled in a related Tech Ed Class
