Job Summary
The Electrician performs skilled electrical work in support of the operations and maintenance of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC). This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, inspecting, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in a critical healthcare environment. The Electrician ensures all work complies with National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA standards, Joint Commission requirements, and facility safety policies.
The Electrician supports mission-critical hospital operations and must respond to emergency electrical issues affecting patient care areas, medical equipment, and essential building systems.
