Starting at $28.80 per hour First Shift

In this fast-paced, high energy environment where attention to detail is essential, how do we ensure our facilities maintenance is kept up and looking good. As an Electrician 2, you will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of facility equipment, machinery, controls, and lighting. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Utilize specialized testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical failures and identify future electrical problems.
  • Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of facility equipment, machinery, controls, and lighting.
  • Repair and update electrical equipment and components due to age, wear, or damage.
  • Perform skilled electrical installations according to national and local codes.
  • Perform other maintenance tasks as requested by the shift supervisor.
  • Maintain inventory stock of electrical components, tools, and lamps.
  • Oversee, mentor, and help train Electrician I team members.
  • Adhere to the casino's standard levels assuring that daily work and special projects are completed in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Perform duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Two years of journeyman level experience is required. An Electrical Trade Certificate can replace 2 years of experience.

  • Maintain current State of Wisconsin Journeyman Certification.
  • Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • The ability to interact with guests and team members professionally.
  • The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to:

  • Talk, hear
  • Stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, and move freely throughout the property for duration of scheduled shift.
  • Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Operate a personal computer.
  • Lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds occasionally, with assistance.
  • Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties.

Working Conditions

  • The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor, the noise levels increase.
  • The facility is not smoke free.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and at heights.
  • The team member is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, extreme temperatures, and vibration.
