Welcome to Cascades!\n \nEvery day, our team takes pride in rolling up their sleeves to create products that are mindful of the environment. \n \nJoin us as an Electrician in Niagara Falls - Greenpac Mill and help bring materials to life in a workplace where health and safety always come first.\n \nWhat's in it for you\n \nTaking care of our people is in our nature - so you'll enjoy:\n\n Hourly wage of $30.00/hr to $44.57/hr (based on skills, experience and education) + $5000 sign-on bonus. \n Top rate goes up to $47.55\n Full-time position with guaranteed hours for job stability\n Schedule 12-hour swing shift schedule\n Profit sharing paid 3 times per year \n $1/hr Shift Premium (nights & weekends)\n Tool Allowance\n Wellness Reimbursement\n Retirement Plan\n Annual Boot Reimbursement\n Referral bonus - help grow the team and get rewarded\n \nWhat you'll do\n \nAs an Electrician, you'll be at the heart of operations - right on the floor where materials take shape. \n \nYour day-to-day:\n\n Perform scheduled, unplanned, and emergency maintenance repairs of mill equipment, electrical distribution systems and support equipment\n Properly maintain high speed automation equipment, tooling, and associated machinery to designed standards\n Complete installation, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and distribution systems up to 4160V\n Work with and troubleshoot and repair PLCs and HMIs\n Use basic hand tools: multi-meters, thermal imaging cameras, meggers, and other electrical test equipment.\n Repair electrical, electro-mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic circuits and devices\n Comply with all mill safety responsibilities and maintain clean and orderly work areas\n Troubleshoot control loops, magnetic and electronic motor controls, timers, counters, sequencers. \n \nYour strengths as a Electrician\n\n 3-5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a large-scale heavy industrial manufacturing environment\n Experience with installation, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and distribution systems\n Able to access and read electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings, blueprints and schematics\n Strong working background on AC and DC controls\n Understand and have experience working with VSDs and VFDs\n Knowledge of instrumentation (pressure transmitters, level indicators, RTDs, valve positioners, etc.)\n Preferred experience with SAP, Siemens PCS-7 or equivalent, Profibus communication protocol\n Strong communication skills, and a team-player attitude\n Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends and holidays, overtime, and call-ins.\n* Candidate must be fluent in English both written and spoken\n \nApply now and join our team as Electrician in Niagara Falls - Greenpac Mill.\n \nCascades values diversity and inclusion and considers all applications equitably.
