Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Electrician A - Brooklyn.

In this role, the successful candidate Responsible for maintaining repairing trouble shooting and installing all electrical equipment and components in the facility for power and lighting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Works with voltages up to 600volts three phase five wire
  • Understands and interprets prints for repairs and installations
  • Performs Electrical calculations for installations repairs and relocations
  • Applies the electrical code and regulations to all work performed
  • Keeps work area clear and safe removes debris and unused materials
  • Performs and records required testing on equipment and devices
  • Completes tasks properly and on schedule
  • Performs other work as directed by supervisor
  • Handles all facets of plant and building maintenance including the storage of hazardous materials and chemicals that the department utilizes.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs appliances motor circuits alarms and related items
  • Troubleshoots and repairs electrical equipment and electrical systems
  • Disconnects and removes appliances and equipment
  • Installs and connects appliances equipment raceways motors and panels
  • Repairs stores discards electrical equipment properly
  • Removes stores discards electrical equipment properly
  • Estimates and requests materials required for repairs and installations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • To qualify you must have a High School Graduate or an approved trade school graduate
  • 5 years experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certified in the use of Hilti Power Gun

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
