Job Summary: | ||||
This position performs a variety of skilled and semiskilled manual tasks at the Apprentice level in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, instrumentation and control equipment. Work is performed under the general direction of the Master Electrician, or the Journeyman electrician. Duties may involve the use of trade tools and the operation of light construction equipment. Work is performed under the supervision of the Master Electrician. | ||||

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS An individual who has not been through an Electrical Apprentice Program, or has not had time in the Electrical Field, must be willing to enroll in an Electrical Apprenticeship Program. WORK ENVIRONMENT/ADA: This job requires walking, standing, pushing, bending, stooping, equipment operation and driving. The employee will work outside in various weather conditions. Working in or with moving vehicles and/or equipment may be required as well as working from heights, in dusty condition, with hands, feet, and/or legs in wastewater and may handle chemicals. | ||||
