Electrician Apprentice

Job description

HEMS is currently hiring apprentice electricians with commercial & residential construction experience.

1099 form: paid weekly.

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE ACTIVE TDLR LICENSE
• 3+ years' experience in commercial and residential electrical work
• Must be available to work full-time 7 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday at minimum
• Very competitive weekly pay – pay based on experience
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have trade specific tools
• Strong safety compliance awareness
• Skilled in hand tool operation
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities (not limited to):

• Bend / install conduit
• Measuring, cutting, and pulling wire
• Installation of Underground System
• Installation of electrical devices
• Installation of lighting control
• Wiring transformers & panels
• Effectively utilize and provide your own tools for the trade
• Commercial and residential layouts
• Install wiring, and panels according to blueprints and code requirements
• Handle and maintain electrical tools safely
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints
• Maintain clean and safe work sites
• Follow all electrical codes and safety regulations
• Jobsite safety
