Overview:
Position Summary The Industrial Electrician is responsible for assembling, wiring, installing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and control panels for custom automated machinery. This role works closely with engineering and assembly teams to ensure machines are built to specification, operate safely, and meet quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong experience in industrial electrical assembly, reading schematics, and supporting machine startups and debugging.
 
Job Duties: 
  1. Assemble and wire electrical control panels according to electrical schematics and engineering drawings
  2. Install and route wiring, cables, sensors, motors, and other electrical components on automated machinery
  3. Interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, and bills of material
  4. Perform point-to-point wiring of control panels and field devices
  5. Mount electrical components such as PLCs, HMIs, relays, circuit breakers, power supplies, and drives
  6. Support machine power-up, checkout, and debugging alongside controls engineers and machine builders
  7. Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary corrections during the build process
  8. Ensure wiring and installations meet electrical codes, safety standards, and internal quality requirements
 
Qualifications: 
  1. 3+ years of industrial electrical assembly or electrician experience in a manufacturing or automation environment
  2. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and panel layouts
  3. Experience wiring control panels and automated machinery
  4. Familiarity with PLC systems, HMIs, sensors, and industrial electrical co Experience working with custom automation or special machinery components
