Electrician

Growing commercial/ industrial electrical contracting company seeking a full-time electrical journeyman! The Journeyman is primarily responsible for installing the electrical scope for the given project. He/ She must be hands on, a self starter, takes pride in their work and a positive/ optimistic person.

Qualifications

-Minimum two (2) years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures using blueprints, schematics and sketches.

-Pass a background check, including drug test.

-Ability to successfully install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.

-Knowledge using hand tools, small power tools, shop machines, and heavy equipment.

-Knowledge with construction documents, blueprints, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installations procedures.

-Knowledge installing and mounting electronic controls, device panels, sensors, and components.

-Has a basic understanding of the latest edition of the NEC.

Responsibilities

-Perform work as directed by the foreman/ direct supervisor

-Install different type of electrical systems and components in various commercial and industrial facilities.

-Analyzes and quickly report any work problems to supervisor

-Follows the companies the standards of safety, and exemplary quality of work
