Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Electrician position will be involved in all facets of electrical troubleshooting and repair of our pump stations and treatment plants. This position will troubleshoot and repair electrical components, build and repair electrical control cabinets. This position will also wire and troubleshoot systems utilizing Programmable Logic Controls. The work requires confined space entries and lock out/tag out of mechanical components and electrical circuits. They must be proficient with fabrication, job organization, and tracking; they must also be proficient with job estimating and providing a breakdown of job costs and completion time. They will also be working directly with the Pump Station Administrator on managing contractors during pump station and treatment plant upgrades and repairs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to, the following):
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent, preferably higher education with a degree or certification in a related field.
At least 6 years of commercial/industrial electrical trade experience.
Must be organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Effective in operating in an environment with minimal supervision.
Must have and maintain a Journeyman or Master Electrician License.
