Electrician, FT Days

Under the direction of the Plant Operations and Maintenance Manager or designee, the Electrician performs skilled electrical work throughout PIH Health hospitals and assigned facilities. The position installs, inspects,
tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains electrical distribution, lighting, controls, equipment, and related building systems to support safe, reliable, and continuous healthcare operations. The Electrician responds to
routine and emergency service needs, performs preventive maintenance, supports construction and renovation projects, and completes work in accordance with applicable codes, safety requirements, hospital policies, and
infection prevention practices.

Required Skills


Required Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Valid CA Driver's License and an acceptable driving record required when driving in an assigned job function.
• 3-5 years of journey-level experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance is required.
• Healthcare facility experience preferred.
• Hospital or healthcare facility electrical experience is preferred.
• Relevant electrical, safety, or trade certifications are preferred, including CA General Electrician certification, NFPA 70E or equivalent arc-flash/electrical safety training, and OSHA safety certification
• Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship, trade school program, or relevant coursework in electricity and electrical systems preferred.
