We're looking for an experienced electrician who's ready to bring their real-world knowledge into the classroom. If you've worked in the field and want to help others build a career in the electrical trade, this is a great opportunity to make an impact.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Teach hands-on electrical skills to students preparing for careers in the trade
- Demonstrate safe use of tools, equipment, and electrical systems
- Train students in residential, commercial, and/or industrial wiring
- Prepare students for licensure and industry certifications
- Support and mentor students as they develop their skills
What You Bring:
- Strong, hands-on experience in the electrical trade
- Knowledge of electrical fundamentals (AC/DC) and NEC standards
- Experience with wiring, conduit installation, and power distribution
- Familiarity with motor controls, transformers, or PLCs (preferred)
- Ability to clearly explain and demonstrate concepts to others
Additional Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
You must meet one of the following:
- Associate degree in Electrical Technology (or an equivalent field) plus five (5) years of electrical work experience
OR
- Bachelor's degree plus three (3) years of electrical work experience
OR
- five or more (5+) years of electrical work experience and willingness to complete an Electrical Technology Associate degree within three (3) years
Preferred:
- Licensed Master or Journeyman Electrician
No Teaching Experience? No Problem.
