ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installnewelectronicequipmentandsystemsandassemblecomponentsusinghandtools

• Performroutinemaintenanceanddiagnoseandrepairelectronicsystemsandequipment. Thisincludesreplacingpartsandaligningcomponents

• Troubleshootcomplexelectronicissues by analyzingsymptomsandidentifyingproblems

• Testexistingequipment to identifyproblems,calibratesensors,andensuresystemsmeetqualitystandards

• Readandinterprettechnicalmanuals,schematics,andblueprints. Maintainlogs of equipmentperformance,documentsystemchanges,andgeneratereports on workperformed

•  Workwithengineersandothertechniciansandmayprovidetechnicalassistance to customers or otherdepartments. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• HighSchoolDiploma or GEDrequired;

• Degree in ElectronicsTechpreferred, OR 2 yearsworkexperienceindustrialelectronics

• Strongunderstanding of electronictheory,components,andsystems. 

• Proficiencyhandtoolsandsolderingirons to work on smallcircuitry

• Ability to use a variety of testequipment,such as ampmetersandmultimeters

• Stronganalyticalskills to troubleshootandresolvetechnicalissues

• Ability to effectivelycommunicatewithcolleaguesandsupervisors

• Skilled in readingandunderstandingtechnicaldocumentation,blueprints,andschematics
   

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must stand;walk;sit;usehands to handle or feel;reachwithhandsandarms;climb or balance;stoop,kneel,crouch, or crawl;talk or hearandtaste or smell

• Frequentlyliftand/ormove up to 50 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Frequentexposed to wetand/orhumidconditions;movingmechanicalparts;high,precariousplaces;fumes or airborneparticles;toxic or causticchemicals;outsideweatherconditions;extremecold;extremeheat;risk of electricalshock;explosivesandvibration.
