We are seeking a skilled Electrician to handle the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. This position plays an important role in ensuring electrical work is completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with all applicable codes and standards.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, solid troubleshooting abilities, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Install and service electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and related systems.
- Perform inspections and routine maintenance to identify and address electrical issues.
- Use appropriate testing equipment to diagnose electrical problems and determine necessary repairs.
- Troubleshoot electrical system failures and restore equipment to proper working condition.
- Repair or replace electrical components, including circuit breakers, panels, wiring, and related equipment.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all electrical installations and repairs meet applicable local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Work alongside other trades and team members to coordinate electrical work and complete projects efficiently.
- Follow established safety practices and properly utilize required personal protective equipment.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to completed work, materials, and maintenance activities.
- Keep tools, equipment, and the work area clean and organized.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant electrical experience.
- Current Journeyman Electrician license.
- Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and work as part of a team.
- Fluent English communication skills required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move for extended periods during the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.
- Ability to work in confined or restricted spaces.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to safely perform electrical work in a variety of environmental conditions.
