Tesserais seeking anElectrician,Maintenancewhoplans,estimatesand performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation,maintenanceor repair of equipment for the generation, distribution orutilizationof electric equipment and components.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

Work involves installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locating and diagnosing problems in the electrical system or equipment; working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.

Replaces lamps andballasts, cleans fixtures, repairs outlets, switches, connections, sensors, and ground fault interrupters, and performs miscellaneous electrical repairs.

Repairspanel boards, motor control centers, transformers, and circuit breakers.

Installs or repairs wiring, electrical and electronic components.

Inspects,operates, and tests industrial equipment to diagnose malfunctions.

Plans and lays out work using diagrams, drawings,manualsand schematic diagrams

Keep records of maintenance, workperformed,and cost of work.

Portable handheld electronic devices shall be used, where applicable, in the performance of daily duties for purposes including but not limited to documenting work, timekeeping, and ordering materials

Restores fixtures to proper operatingconditionsand lighting to current Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES) standards.

This position may be subject to call-back availability based on operational needs.

Qualifications:

Highschool Diploma/GED isrequired.

Minimum3years' experienceCommercial and Electrical Systems and Controls

Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) and maintenance practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability toperformthe following physical demands for extended periods of time with or withoutassistance. The physical demands of this position may bereasonably accommodatedfor individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

Must be able to lift and/or move up to70pounds.

May berequiredto reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also berequired.

Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

A valid state driver's license isrequiredwith the ability to obtain andmaintaincoverage byTessera'sinsurance.
