As a Residential Service Electrician, you'll diagnose electrical issues, perform repairs and upgrades, educate homeowners on their options, and deliver an outstanding customer experience from start to finish.

Qualifications:

Do I have What it Takes?

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of residential electrical service, repair, and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience diagnosing and repairing a wide range of residential electrical systems

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, installations, and repairs
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
  • Experience running conduit, wiring and terminating devices, and performing system testing
  • Knowledge of electrical installations in both existing homes and new construction environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality standards

Responsibilities:

What Will I Do?

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems accurately and efficiently
  • Perform electrical repairs, upgrades, and installations in compliance with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
  • Conduct thorough electrical system evaluations and safety inspections
  • Present repair and upgrade options clearly and professionally to homeowners
  • Educate customers on electrical safety, efficiency improvements, and available solutions
  • Accurately estimate, document, and invoice repairs and installation projects
  • Complete service documentation, including before-and-after photos and detailed job notes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment at every customer location
  • Build strong customer relationships through exceptional communication and service
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and support teams
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures while maintaining a commitment to quality workmanship
