Electrician – Facilities

Full-Time

Pennswood Village, a senior living community located in Newtown, PA – Bucks County – is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Facilities team. This position performs skilled electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair throughout our community.

What You'll Do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and systems

• Diagnose and correct power failures, short circuits, and other electrical problems.

• Perform electrical repairs on facility equipment, including heating, cooling, and food preparation equipment.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.

• Perform general facilities maintenance and assist with emergency situations as needed.

• Participate in rotating weekend, holiday, off-shift, and emergency on-call coverage.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of electrical or related maintenance experience.

• Trade school, technical education, or electrical apprenticeship experience preferred.

• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safe work practices.

• Ability to safely use electrical tools and equipment.

• Must provide basic hand tools.

Physical Requirements

Ability to bend, climb, kneel, reach and stoop and lift approximately 20–65 pounds. Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, including in heat, cold, and inclement weather.
