Electrician - Nightshift

BlueWave is hiring an Electrician for a technology infrastructure client based in Memphis, Tennessee. As an Electrician, you will install and maintain low- and/or medium-voltage electrical systems supporting mission-critical construction. You will also interpret electrical documentation, troubleshoot equipment, and support testing and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Install conduit, cable tray, wiring, and electrical equipment.
• Install and terminate low- and/or medium-voltage power systems, switchgear, transformers, panels, uninterruptible power supply systems, generators, and related equipment.
• Read electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and project specifications.
• Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning support.
• Follow electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and quality-control procedures.

Requirements

• At least five years of commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical experience.
• Experience with low- and/or medium-voltage power distribution systems.
• Ability to bend conduit, pull cable, and complete equipment terminations.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and one-line diagrams.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safe work practices.
• Data center experience preferred.
• Spanish-language proficiency preferred.

Employment Type: 13-week contract-to-hire position, 100% onsite in Memphis, Tennessee
