This off-shift Electrician position, located in Muskegon County, MI, is responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, instrumentation, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment used in production processes. The position plays a key role in ensuring reliable plant operations, equipment uptime, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Compensation and Benefits Package
Base pay: up to $41.50 per hour

Job Roles
Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation used in production equipment and facility systems.
Performs installation, inspection, and testing of electrical and electronic components to ensure proper functionality and compliance with standards.
Diagnoses and resolves complex electrical and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Interprets electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to support troubleshooting and repair efforts.
Conducts preventive maintenance and calibration of control systems, drives, and sensors.
Collaborates with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to implement system upgrades and process improvements.
Adheres to all electrical safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and compliance standards.
Maintains detailed maintenance records and documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
Provides technical support and training to other maintenance and operations personnel as needed.
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, safety, and reliability.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Possess a minimum of one of the following:
Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications
Master Electrician License
Strong background in electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and controls
Experience with PLCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and industrial automation systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Commitment to safety, reliability, and continuous improvement
