EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A typical qualifying background would include graduation from high school or equivalent combined with completion of an accredited apprenticeship program and two (2) years of journey-level experience, or combined with five (5) years of journey-level experience in electrical installation, alteration, and repair work. WORKING CONDITIONS: The usual and customary methods of performing the job s functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, significant climbing and balancing, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling, significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 10% sitting, 15% walking, and 75% standing. Occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and under conditions with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
