Shift Details: Should be able to work 1st or 2nd shift o 8 Hour Schedule 1st 7: 00 am - 3: 30 pm 2nd 3: 30 am- 11: 30 pm o 10 Hour schedule depending on business needs 1st 5: 00 am- 3: 30 pm 2nd 3: 30 am- 1: 30 am

Summary

This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for wiring transformers, panels, and various devices on the unit per engineering drawings safely with quality workmanship, in accordance with client principles, corporate policies, procedures, and plant operations.

Essential Job Functions

Wire (PLC) transformers, microprocessors, and junction boxes.
Assemble and wire control panels from drawings.
Perform conduit layout of unit in accordance with NEC and UL standards.
Identify and wire all devices on unit.
Physical/Mental Requirements
Lifting 50 lbs. (occasionally), standing (constantly), walking (frequently), bending (frequently), climbing (frequently), crawling (occasionally), reaching (frequently), grasping (frequently), sitting (occasionally), connecting (frequently), pulling (frequently), reading prints (frequently), and exercising judgment (frequently).
Must understand and follow safety rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Vision corrected to 20/20.
Handling equipment (frequently).
Environmental Factors
Manufacturing environment – Exposure to noise, dirt, dust, cold/heat (indoor), and cold/heat (outdoor). Job hazards of working around heavy equipment and machinery.
Tools and Equipment Used
Tape measure, small hand tools, power tools, and drills.

Qualifications

Possess a complete understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) on electrical drawings as applicable.
Ability to use hand tools, electrical equipment, and measuring tape.
Capability to maintain a clean and safe work area and/or equipment as required.
