Brief Description The Electrician will work independently and with other department personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting issues and general repair of drilling equipment. - Perform scheduled and proactive maintenance on drilling equipment to ensure a high level of operation.
- Compile information from walk-through assessments to proactively resolve any issues in order to maintain world-class facilities.
- Coordinate needed repairs, manage equipment replacement, and oversee vendor performance.
- Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, drilling systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of equipment does not deteriorate.
- Assemble, install or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components.
- Diagnose electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and part catalogs as necessary.
- Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, city, state and federal guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Wages: $36.00/hr - $45.00/hr DOQ and DOE
