The Electro Mechanic I is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. This role requires hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, including PLC troubleshooting and motor controls, to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control system issues
• Work with PLC systems and industrial motor controls
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Support production teams by minimizing equipment downtime
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and repairs
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with company standards
• Assist in continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives

Must-Have Skills

• Industrial manufacturing or military maintenance experience
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of industrial motor controls

Required Skills

• Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills
• Preventive and corrective maintenance experience
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with blown film, extrusion, flexographic printing, lamination, or slitting equipment
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments
• Technical certifications in maintenance or related fields

Industry Experience

• Manufacturing / Industrial environment required

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification preferred
