Production Assembler 3 Position Summary Works under general supervision and is responsible for work output. On a production basis, performs medium to heavy electronic and electromechanical assembly and subassembly work. Semi-repetitive to repetitive-type work. May make simple decisions but must generally follow well-established precedents. Performs other mechanical work that meets company and departmental objectives. An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Advanced understanding of ESD controls, soldering, epoxy mixing, bonding, assembly, and packaging techniques, as well as handling of Electromechanical assemblies.
Ensures a safe work environment with a goal of zero accidents.
Responsibilities An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Good understanding of ESD controls, resistance welding, working under microscopes, soldering, epoxy mixing, bonding, assembly, and packaging techniques, as well as handling of classified assemblies.

Basic computer skills will be needed to log into work orders, access time cards, and log workorders for special process.
Must be able to operate winding, braiding machinery, torque wrenches, digital multi-meters up to 12kv, Hypot solder irons, cutters, wire strippers, crimpers, heat guns, common hand tools, and the use of a microscope.
