Job Summary:
Eastridge Workforce Solutions is hiring for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a leading industrial automation and controls manufacturer in Chandler, AZ. This position supports electrical and mechanical assembly activities throughout production, including panel building, wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assemble electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products according to specifications and production schedules.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and bills of materials.
Wire standard and custom control panels, including point-to-point wiring and low-voltage components.
Install and wire electrical components such as relays, breakers, starters, overloads, transformers, timers, and switches.
Measure, cut, route, terminate, and neatly dress wires, harnesses, and cable assemblies.
Perform crimping, lugging, soldering, labeling, and termination of electrical connections.
Layout and install wire duct, DIN rail, Unistrut, transformers, relays, circuit breakers, and other panel components.
Test electrical panels for proper operation using multimeters and other precision testing equipment.
Assist engineering teams in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform basic equipment maintenance and assist with warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Technical/Vocational Degree required.
2-3 years of electrical assembly, panel building, or related manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
Experience with electrical assembly tools, wire preparation, crimping, soldering, and panel wiring.
Familiarity with electrical components including relays, breakers, contactors, transformers, and switches.
Basic understanding of standard and metric measurements.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Industrial automation or motion control experience preferred.
Previous or current IPC-620 Certification (Modules 1, 2, and 3) preferred.
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
