Summary

At the company, you help make the world safer, cleaner, and healthier. We are seeking a strong Electro-Mechanical Assembler to build, test, integrate, troubleshoot, and qualify electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies following standard practices and procedures. This is a hands-on manufacturing role requiring precision, technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or within a team environment. The position involves assembly, wiring, soldering, cable harnessing, troubleshooting, and supporting manufacturing timelines while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials (BoMs).
  • Assemble a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, and opto-mechanical sub-assemblies.
  • Perform wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
  • Make setups and adjustments while holding tolerances to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and optical systems.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineers to resolve incoming quality or design issues.
  • Provide suggestions for improvements to schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency while performing repetitive tasks.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, environmental, and company compliance procedures.
  • Meet production deadlines while balancing competing priorities.
  • Complete daily pass downs and maintain clear written communication.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred.
  • Typically 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, soldering equipment, cable cutters, and wire strippers.
  • General understanding of electrical power flow.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Proficient computer skills including Windows, MS Office, and other PC-based software.
  • Excellent manual dexterity with the ability to work with small components and microscopes.
  • Ability to safely lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds.
  • Should be a learner who can follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in English.
  • Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and results-driven.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
