Hours: 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday - Friday

Starting Payrate: $23.00 Per Hour - $30.00 Per Hour

Job Summary:

An Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for supporting assembly, testing and production work related to electro-mechanical devices. Tasks include electrical assembly, wire harness fabrication, circuit board component installation and other tasks essential to electro-mechanical component fabrication.

Job Requirements:

• Experience using hand tools (cutters, strippers, crimpers, etc.) and electrical tools

• High School Diploma

• Associates degree preferred or related coursework in Electronics or equivalent experience in the electronic field

• Familiarity with Military/DoD, basic electronic experience, soldering to J-STD-001, familiarity with and capable of operating standard electronic test equipment; oscilloscopes, meters, frequency generators, etc.

• 2+ years in a technical and/or assembly environment

• Able to pass a 7-year criminal background check

• Occasionally lift up to 50lbs

• Standing for extended periods of time

• Must be a US Citizen

Responsibilities as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler:

• Reads, understands, and follows engineering assembly drawings, bill of materials, manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and misc. supporting documentation

• Wire harness fabrication utilizing wire splicing, crimping, Molex and Amp connector installation and soldering on a multitude of different connectors and cable types

• Assembly and calibration of electro-mechanical products

• Assembly and test of various mechanical systems using standard electronic test equipment

• Electrical parameter checks on final assembly of electro-mechanical products Monitors needs and metrics of assigned areas and recommends improvements

• Recommends design changes

Working Conditions:

• 50% electrical/wiring of products (dressing and routing of cables, crimping, soldering, etc.)

• 50% mechanical assembly with the use of hand tools and measuring devices

• Wearing ESD grounding shoes and/or wrist strap is required while working inside the assembly facility
