Electro/Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Operator (Actuator Assembly) to join our manufacturing team in Houston, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and quality-checking actuator components with precision and accuracy. You will work in a fast-paced production environment where your attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to maintaining our high standards of quality and safety.

• Assemble actuator components according to technical specifications and engineering drawings
• Operate assembly equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Perform quality inspections and measurements using precision instruments to ensure components meet specifications
• Identify and report defects or discrepancies in materials or assembled units
• Maintain organized work stations and ensure proper storage of parts and materials
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment
• Document production activities and maintain accurate records of completed assemblies
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
• Troubleshoot minor assembly issues and communicate problems to supervisory staff
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality

Qualifications

• Proven experience in assembly operations or mechanical manufacturing environments
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Proficiency with precision measurement tools and quality control equipment
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and zero-defect standards
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination
• Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to workplace safety compliance
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented production setting
• Basic computer literacy for documentation and record-keeping purposes
• Preferred: Experience with actuator systems or similar mechanical assemblies
• Preferred: Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and best practices
• Preferred: Experience with pneumatic or hydraulic systems
