    Description

    Job Summary:

    Hours: 11:30am-8:00pm

    Assembles, reworks, and tests assemblies, subassemblies, components, products, or systems.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding assembly duties to be performed.

    • Performs troubleshooting and some module swapping in order to repair product

    • Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in a jig, fixture, or other holding device.

    • Screws, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.

    • Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on a printed circuit board.

    • Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases.

    • Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, straps, and switches, to assemblies.

    • Performs network go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.

    Required Experience:

    Skills/Abilities:

    • Solid communication skills and ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.

    • Must have solid practical skills in electronics manufacturing and the ability to use common tools

    • Understanding of assembly process

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or general education degree and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or training.

    • 2 years related experience desired

    Physical Requirements (With or without reasonable accommodation):

    • Sitting: Over 70%

    • Walking: Over 70%

    • Lift/Carry: Over 70 % and 30+ lbs

    • Fine Motor Movements: Over 70 %

    • Depth Perception: Over 70%
