Job Summary:
Assembles, reworks, and tests assemblies, subassemblies, components, products, or systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding assembly duties to be performed.
Performs troubleshooting and some module swapping in order to repair product
Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in a jig, fixture, or other holding device.
Screws, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on a printed circuit board.
Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases.
Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, straps, and switches, to assemblies.
Performs network go-not-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.

Skills/Abilities:
Solid communication skills and ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
Must have solid practical skills in electronics manufacturing and the ability to use common tools
Understanding of assembly process
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education or training.
2 years related experience desired
