Electro-Mechanical Assembler II

Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Electro-Mechanical Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will build and assemble complex electro-mechanical, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems used in highly regulated products. The ideal candidate will have strong assembly skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work from drawings, wiring diagrams, and written instructions.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble complex subassemblies and finished products according to work instructions, drawings, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials.
  • Perform point-to-point wiring and electrical panel assembly as required.
  • Integrate electrical and mechanical components into finished assemblies.
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues using established procedures.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring equipment to ensure product quality.
  • Perform basic testing and calibration activities when required.
  • Accurately complete production documentation and electronic transactions.
  • Identify, document, and report quality concerns.
  • Maintain material traceability and follow established manufacturing procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
  • Support team objectives through collaboration, cross-training, and knowledge sharing.
  • Package finished products according to specifications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training, vocational education, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Experience assembling electro-mechanical, electrical, and mechanical components.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and production tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medical device, aerospace, electronics, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Cleanroom experience.
  • Complex electrical panel wiring experience.
  • Experience with large-scale equipment or capital equipment manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with adhesives, dispensing equipment, and heat-shrink applications.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers requiring strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to walk, reach, bend, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Occasional stair climbing may be required.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods when necessary.
Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.75 per hour
