Electro-Mechanical Assembler III

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler III to support the assembly, testing, and inspection of complex electro-mechanical systems and finished products. This role requires strong technical assembly skills, the ability to work from detailed documentation, and a commitment to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience with complex assemblies, electrical wiring, troubleshooting, testing, and mentoring less experienced team members.
Responsibilities
  • Assemble complex electro-mechanical products and subassemblies using work instructions, bills of materials, drawings, and specifications.
  • Perform point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and electrical panel assembly.
  • Troubleshoot assembly and wiring issues using established procedures.
  • Complete final assembly, functional testing, calibration, inspection, and electrical safety testing as required.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measurement equipment to ensure product quality and workmanship standards.
  • Accurately complete production documentation and electronic transactions.
  • Maintain material traceability and follow established manufacturing and quality procedures.
  • Communicate product, process, or quality concerns and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
  • Support new product introductions and prototype builds.
  • Train, mentor, and provide guidance to junior assemblers and team members.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training, vocational education, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience assembling complex electro-mechanical products.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with point-to-point wiring and electrical panel assembly.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and other testing equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Prior experience training or mentoring others is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medical device, aerospace, electronics, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting new product introductions or prototype builds.
  • Customer-facing experience.
  • Familiarity with quality systems, manufacturing documentation, and traceability requirements.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers requiring strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to reach, bend, and perform repetitive motions.
  • Occasional stair climbing may be required.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods when necessary.
Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
