Title: Electro-Mechanical Technician

Salary: $17–$23/hour

This Electro-Mechanical Technician role is a hands-on position supporting assembly and production of electronic and mechanical components. You will be responsible for building, inspecting, and ensuring quality of assemblies while working closely with production and engineering teams.
Job Duties:
- Perform SMT and through-hole soldering on circuit boards.
- Complete electro-mechanical assembly, including box builds.
- Assemble wire, cable, and harness components.
- Inspect electrical and mechanical assemblies for defects.
- Prepare materials for assembly (cutting, stripping, wiring, kitting).
- Read and follow work instructions, schematics, BOMs, and engineering drawings.
- Use hand and small power tools to complete assemblies.
- Maintain quality standards and follow safety procedures.
- Support additional production tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or technical diploma.
- 3+ years of electro-mechanical assembly or related experience (or military training).
- Ability to solder and rework fine-pitch SMT components.
- Strong ability to read schematics, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools.
