Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.20 per hour

Job Summary

The Electro/Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with specifications and quality standards. This role supports both sub-assembly and system-level assembly and testing within a regulated manufacturing environment.
The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written procedures and drawings, and hands-on experience using mechanical and electrical tools and test equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and system-level hardware per specifications
  • Perform in-process sub-assembly testing as required
  • Complete and maintain Device History Records (DHR)
  • Perform assembly and testing for reconditioned hardware when required
  • Perform packaging functions within Instruments Manufacturing as needed
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards including QSR, ISO, EH&S
  • Use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, and soldering irons
  • Follow written assembly procedures, test procedures, and mechanical drawings
  • Use mechanical inspection tools such as calipers and indicators
  • Use electrical test equipment including multimeters
  • Support daily manufacturing operations, service support forecasts, and regulatory compliance
  • Provide training support as needed
  • Identify workplace risks and participate in safety improvements
  • Support internal audits of manufacturing processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience assembling and testing electro-mechanical components
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, procedures, and drawings
  • Proficiency with mechanical hand tools and basic electrical test equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing environment

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience and/or training required
