Pay Rate: $20.00 – $24.20 per hour
Job Summary
The Electro/Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building, testing, and inspecting electro-mechanical assemblies in accordance with specifications and quality standards. This role supports both sub-assembly and system-level assembly and testing within a regulated manufacturing environment.
The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow written procedures and drawings, and hands-on experience using mechanical and electrical tools and test equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble and test electro-mechanical sub-assemblies and system-level hardware per specifications
Perform in-process sub-assembly testing as required
Complete and maintain Device History Records (DHR)
Perform assembly and testing for reconditioned hardware when required
Perform packaging functions within Instruments Manufacturing as needed
Maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory standards including QSR, ISO, EH&S
Use basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, and soldering irons
Follow written assembly procedures, test procedures, and mechanical drawings
Use mechanical inspection tools such as calipers and indicators
Use electrical test equipment including multimeters
Support daily manufacturing operations, service support forecasts, and regulatory compliance
Provide training support as needed
Identify workplace risks and participate in safety improvements
Support internal audits of manufacturing processes
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience assembling and testing electro-mechanical components
Ability to read and follow written instructions, procedures, and drawings
Proficiency with mechanical hand tools and basic electrical test equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to work effectively in a regulated manufacturing environment
