About the Opportunity

AdeptHR is hiring an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler II for a growing manufacturer of advanced Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPS) in Monrovia, CA.

In this hands-on production role, you'll assemble and integrate UPS systems using cabling, PCB boards, hardware, and other electrical and mechanical components. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, with the potential to transition to a permanent position after approximately six months of consistent performance.

What You'll Do

• Assemble and integrate components into UPS systems according to engineering drawings, picture references, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Verify materials and components before beginning assembly.
• Install and route wiring, cabling, PCB boards, and hardware.
• Perform crimping and occasional soldering as required.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and crimpers during assembly.
• Follow established workmanship and quality standards.
• Read and follow written, verbal, and visual work instructions.
• Inspect your work and maintain close attention to small details.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, focused production environment.
• Stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Occasionally lift materials or equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of related electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Familiarity with different types of mechanical and electrical hardware.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and crimpers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise assembly instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a production environment.
