Location: North Phoenix – 19th Ave & Pinnacle Peak
Pay: $17.00–$25.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM–2:00 PM
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join a manufacturing team in North Phoenix. This position is responsible for assembling electrical and sheet metal components and sub-assemblies according to customer specifications, drawings, and production requirements.
The ideal candidate will have previous aerospace manufacturing experience along with hands-on electrical assembly, soldering, mechanical assembly, and schematic reading experience.
Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to customer specifications.
Build electrical components and sheet metal sub-assemblies.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and mechanical schematics.
Perform soldering during electrical assembly processes.
Solder glass components into cases as required.
Perform induction brazing when applicable.
Use various hand tools, specialty tools, fixtures, and production equipment.
Inspect completed assemblies for workmanship and quality.
Follow production drawings, work instructions, and established procedures.
Work independently or as part of a production cell.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform additional production duties as assigned.
Minimum 1 year of aerospace manufacturing experience.
Minimum 2 years of electrical component assembly experience.
Minimum 2 years of soldering experience.
Minimum 1 year of mechanical assembly experience.
Strong ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be able to read and communicate fluently in English.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Epoxy and adhesive application for assemblies.
Glass assembly, particularly cockpit display components.
Induction brazing experience.
Sheet metal assembly experience.
Previous experience manufacturing aerospace electrical components or assemblies.
Ability to perform detailed visual inspections with corrected vision of 20/20.
Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Ability to wear required PPE.
Must be available to work overtime as needed.
