Position Overview
We are hiring Electro-Mechanical Assemblers for a temporary production need. This position is responsible for building and assembling basic electro-mechanical components by following provided instructions, process sheets, and training.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, comfortable performing hands-on and repetitive work, and able to follow detailed instructions in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Perform basic assembly operations including wire stripping, tinning, plugging, twisting, hand crimping, and packaging
Follow provided process sheets and work instructions
Rotate between different assembly areas as needed
Properly clock into assigned jobs and operations using a computer
Communicate job status and quality concerns with supervisors and leads
Follow all workplace safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Perform other production and assembly duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or comparable work experience
Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
Basic math skills, including fractions and decimals
Ability to accurately read a ruler
Basic computer skills
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to perform repetitive work
Must be able to accurately distinguish between colors due to working with multicolored wiring
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods depending on the assigned task
Ability to perform repetitive hand and assembly work
Regularly lift and move up to 10 lbs
Occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, and crouch as required by the position
Important: This is a temporary position expected to run through approximately mid-to-late January 2027. Both 1st and 2nd shift opportunities are available.
