Location: San Diego, CA

Pay Rate: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8 AM - 5:30 PM

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • 3-5 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience required
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or technical production environment
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring schematics
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Strong hand-soldering skills preferred
  • Experience assembling and testing electronic and electro-mechanical components
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Job Duties

  • Assemble electro-mechanical products according to engineering specifications and work instructions
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, wiring schematics, and assembly documentation
  • Perform wiring, cable assembly, and component installation
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment to complete assemblies
  • Test finished assemblies and troubleshoot basic issues as needed
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation
  • Identify and communicate quality concerns to supervisors
  • Follow safety procedures and manufacturing standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
  • Support production goals while ensuring product quality and accuracy

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

As a Electro-Mechanical Assembler you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.
