We are currently hiring for an experienced Electro-Mechanical Assembler for their Defense and Aerospace manufacturing company. The Electro Mechanical Assembler will assemble quality electro-mechanical motion application parts with the requirements of schematic drawings, technical data packages, statements of work, and/or other work instructions. This is a Direct Hire opportunity.
Electro-Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:
Independently assemble electro-mechanical motion application parts according to blueprint/schematic drawings
Ensure proper ESD equipment is in place
Perform visual, functional, and dimensional inspections
Support other departments (machine shop and warehouse) when needed
Generate reports and data entry as required for a work order
Raise flags to the appropriate personnel whenever a nonconformance is suspected
Set up and monitor the assembly room
Ensure compliance to the prescribed QMS processes
Electro-Mechanical Assembler Requirements
Must have Electro-Mechanical Assembler experience
Experience assembling motion applications such as bearings, O-rings, soldering, magnets, etc.
Use of precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Interpret blueprint/schematic drawings
Electro-Mechanical Experience & Abilities Desired
IPC-J-STD-001 Certified, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Assemblies
IPC-A-610 Certified, Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies
IPC-A-620 Certified, Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am until 4:30pm (Overtime & Saturday availability when needed)
