Title: Electro-mechanical Assembler

Pay Rate: $23+ /hr. DOE

Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Electro-mechanical Assembler to work on-site with our client, a top-tier fortune 1000 electronics company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automation
  • Execute and provide feedback on acceptance test plans
  • Work with production line partners to develop NPI's into automation
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on deployed systems
  • Create and maintain PM documentation
  • Assist with assembly of automated systems
  • Assist R&D Engineers with development of new systems and technologies
Qualifications:
  • An Associate degree in Electro/Mechanical technology & 3-5 years related experience
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Have sound knowledge of basic mechanical/electrical/software principals
  • Familiarity with PLC based robotics and associated controls
  • Experience with pneumatics, electronic controls, and 3 phase power
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, CAD, PLC, Data Collection & Analysis)
  • Ability to operate basic power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders
  • Able to use mechanical hand tools, including calipers and square
  • Familiarity with machine shop tools: mills, lathes, band saws, etc.
