Electro-Mechanical Assembler

This role focuses on assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical components and systems in a manufacturing environment. You will interpret blueprints and schematics, use hand tools and test equipment, and work closely with engineers to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.

• Assemble electro-mechanical components and systems using hand tools, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to perform accurate assembly and wiring.
• Perform soldering and basic electronics assembly tasks in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
• Use multimeters, voltmeters, and other test equipment to test and verify the functionality of assembled units.
• Troubleshoot and correct assembly or wiring issues identified during testing or inspection.
• Document test results and assembly information using basic computer skills and company software tools.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to clarify technical requirements and resolve design or assembly issues.
• Work effectively both as part of a small team and independently to meet production schedules and quality goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area within the facility.

• Experience in electronics assembly and electro-mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics for electronics and mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency with soldering techniques for electronic components.
• Hands-on experience using multimeters, voltmeters, and other electronic test equipment.
• Competence with common hand tools and micrometers for precise mechanical assembly.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
• Ability to work well in a small team environment as well as independently.
• Effective communication skills to work closely with engineers and production staff.

• Background in electrical or electronics technology.
• Familiarity with reading and working from both mechanical and electronic schematics.
• Comfort working with test equipment and measurement tools in a production setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving assembly or test issues.

The role involves hands-on work with electro-mechanical assemblies, using hand tools, micrometers, multimeters, voltmeters, and other test equipment. You will operate in a small team environment where collaboration is important, while also having the autonomy to work independently on assigned tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trumbull, CT.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
