Reports To: Electro-Mechanical Assembly Supervisor
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Range: Approximately $17–$19 per hour, based on experience
Position Summary
The Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling electrical and mechanical components by following guided work instructions, schematics, and safety procedures. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and a commitment to quality and workplace safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow guided work instructions, diagrams, and schematics accurately.
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components onto DIN rail systems.
- Utilize industrial tools and equipment, including torque screwdrivers and related assembly tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Perform duties safely and comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production or quality concerns.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic computer literacy required.
- General knowledge of electrical wiring and assembly practices.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational degree, technical certification, or related training preferred.
- Lean manufacturing experience is a plus.
